Zirdle bugs are a popular fly pattern that can imitate various aquatic insects and critters such as stoneflies, crayfish or a buggy looking trout treat that gets attention with all of its legs. Zirdle bugs are great dead drifted or a slightly twitched motion. It comes from the Montana area (and is highly popular there) but we have found them to work all over the place.
