Holographic Hotspot Perdigon
The Perdigon was designed by Spanish competition anglers who were legally prohibited from having too much fun. It's fast, it's sleek, it sinks like a tiny disco ball with a death wish, and trout eat it before they even have time to think about it. We took that already-deadly formula, added holographic body material and hotspots, and tied it on a jig hook. You're welcome.
The holographic body catches light from every angle — in clear water, off-color water, bright sun, overcast skies, probably at night too, we haven't tested that. It's also ribbed. For the trout. The wire rib segments the body, adds durability, and gives the fly just enough texture to make fish feel something. The UV resin finish locks everything down so tight this fly will outlast your tippet, your leader, and possibly your rod. The hotspots add a pop of color at the collar and/or tail because trout, like toddlers, are helplessly attracted to bright things.
Tied jig-style, it rides hook-point-up through every drift. Fewer snags. More fish. Less time untangling from the bottom and more time pretending you meant to do that.
- Jig-style tie — hook-point-up for snag resistance and superior hook-up rates
- Holographic body — maximum flash, minimum mercy
- Wire rib — ribbed for the trout's pleasure, and also for durability
- UV resin finish — bombproof, smooth, and built to last
- Sinks fast, fishes deep, catches fish that weren't even looking
- Effective on tailwaters, freestone rivers, and anywhere trout think they're safe
- Hand-tied by Ty's Flies
